As part of our Recycle Right School's Challenge for National Recycling Week we invited all students to design a poster promoting the message of the 3R's - Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. We received many fabulous entries which made the final decision for our Green Team and myself a very difficult one. We were very pleased to announce the winners at last week's Friday assembly. Our winners were awarded with a prize from our Green Team and our Principal Mr Coniglio. The overall winner's entry will be copied and displayed around the school.
Kindy 4 - Pre Primary category - Winner - Maisie Dickenson in PP
Year 1 - Year 2 Category - Winner - Clodagh McAllister - Year 1
Year 3 - Year 4 category - Winner - Siarah Morris - Year 4
Siarah's entry is the overall winner.
Year 5 - Year 6 category - Saira Sarkis - Year 5
We congratulate all our 3R's Poster Competition entrants on a job well done.
At Mary's Mount Primary we are very proud of our Green Team Member's. They are all new to public speaking. All members did an awesome job of announcing our winners of the 3R's poster competition last week at the assembly. Well done Green Team, you're all inspiring leaders.
