Let's get ready to RRR...Rumble!

Year 5 & 6 Robotics

Students of the Year 5 and Year 6 Maths Extension class have undertaken a Robotics unit this semester. They have made the Riley Rover to conduct basic experiments using Pythagoras' Theorem and testing speed, pace and distances and have now progressed to engineering the more complex GyroBoy model for the next series of activities using the sensor attachments. These activities engage the students in higher order thinking that is promoted in STEM Education (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).
